Who we are

What stays on your device

The audio files you import, their artwork and tags, lyrics you attach, playlists, favorites, the play queue, playback positions and your import history are stored only in LocalTune's storage on your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Android device. LocalTune does not send them to Eazler or to any other server.

What Eazler receives

Nothing from the app. LocalTune has no sign-in, no analytics or advertising SDK, no tracking, and no crash-reporting service of its own.

Apple may share aggregated App Store and TestFlight information with developers, such as download counts, and crash reports or usage data only if you chose to share them with developers in your device settings. That sharing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

On Android, Google may likewise share aggregated Google Play information with developers, such as install counts, and crash and app-not-responding reports only if you allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics with Google. That sharing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Files you choose

LocalTune reads only the files you pick in Files, Finder or the Android file picker, open with or share to LocalTune, or drop into it. It copies them into its own storage; the originals are not changed or moved, and deleting a song in LocalTune removes only the app's copy. If a selected file lives in a cloud provider, that provider may download it before the import, under its own terms.

Device Sync (optional)

Device Sync is off until you pair your devices. When you use it:

• Your iPhone, iPad or Android device scans a pairing QR code shown by LocalTune on your Mac. The camera is used only to read that code; no image is stored or sent.
• Music, playlists and lyrics travel directly between your paired devices over an encrypted connection on your local network. There is no Eazler or cloud server in between.
• The pairing key is kept in the device's keychain; on Android it is protected by the Android Keystore and never included in backups. Removing a device or deleting the app ends the pairing.

Notifications on Android

While music plays, Android shows LocalTune's playback controls in a notification and on the lock screen. When a sync that started in the app is still moving songs as you leave it, LocalTune keeps it running with a silent progress notification until that transfer ends. Neither sends information anywhere; they only keep playback and an ongoing transfer running.

Sample albums (optional)

LocalTune can add four sample albums that are included inside the app. Adding them imports the bundled files into your library; nothing is downloaded or sent. The sample music was generated with AI (Suno) for LocalTune and carries content credentials that say so. You can delete the samples like any other song.

Backups

Your operating system may include LocalTune's data in device backups (such as iCloud Backup or a computer backup) according to your settings. Those backups are handled by Apple and by you, not by Eazler. On Android, LocalTune excludes its data from Google backups and from device-to-device transfer.

This website

localtune.helpmek.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

When you email us

If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.

Children

LocalTune does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can delete any song, playlist or lyric in the app, remove a paired device, or delete LocalTune to remove all of its data from that device. Because Eazler holds no data about you from the app, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side; for an email you sent us, write to sales@eazler.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
